Jeff Boortz
President and Founder
Jeff Boortz is an inventor, entrepreneur, and creative director based in Decatur, Georgia. Over a 30+ year career, he founded and led two creative agencies, taught graphic design at Georgia State University and SCAD, and won two Emmy Awards for his work in motion media. More recently, he founded Better Bureau, a nonprofit design agency serving pro-social enterprises, and serves on the board of The Borgen Project, which advocates for U.S. policies addressing global poverty. In 2025, he began collaborating with AI systems to develop patentable innovations—including a breakthrough transparent display technology and an orbital debris removal system—and became convinced that the value generated by human-AI collaboration should be shared broadly. He founded the Human-AI Innovation Commons to prove that model works.

Founder of CurtDoty.co, Curt is an award-winning brander and marketer. He unites the worlds of design, content and technology. Curt leverages his expertise in AI-driven platforms to create innovative solutions that enhance the value and impact of his clients’ brands. He launched RealmIQ, an AI Consultancy and podcast RealmIQ: Sessions on YouTube, and Spotify.
Curt has spoken at Mobile Growth Association, Mobile Congress, App Growth Summit, Promax, CES, CTIA, NAB, NATPE, MMA Global, New Mexico Angels, Santa Fe Business Incubator, Davos Worldwide, Digital Hollywood, Streaming Media, and SHRM.
Being highly experienced in brand development, social strategy, digital content, venture consulting, business modeling, product development, integrated marketing and user experience with global brands.
Based in Santa Fe, he continues to be a thought leader, visionary and outspoken creative on what is happening in Tech, Content and Design.
Kurt Paulsen

Kurt Paulsen is an artist, educator, and creative technologist based in Minnesota, with over 20 years of experience in higher education and interdisciplinary creative practice. He teaches film production at Minnesota State University and graduate-level motion graphics at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, is the founder of the Speechless Film Festival, which he directed for eight years, and has been deeply involved in the ethical development of generative AI in the arts. He has recently been working as an artist advocate at Spawning.ai where he focused on dataset governance, artist consent, and responsible AI training practices that center creator rights in emerging machine-learning workflows. He is currently the CEO of Sapiendra.ai, a startup focused on advancing ethical, practical, and artist-centered uses of generative AI in education.
